Amsal started music at children art center when she was a little girl, but her parents especially her mother let her neither to go to the children art center nor singing. By struggling this influence she keeps performing on some events in her hometown. She then performs at nightclubs in Gondar town for more than six years and that helps her to encourage and exhibit her potential of singing. Tilahun Gessesse, Yirga Dubale, Maritu Legesse and Hirut Bekele were her role models to become intimate with music, especially Hirut Bekele and Yirga Dubale takes a great place for the motivation.
